My name is Kimberly Landers. I am from Florence, Alabama. Michael and I have two children, Jordon and Holleigh.
I received my Associates Degree in Technical Drafting from Calhoun Community College and later went back to school at the University of North Alabama where I gained my Bachelors Degree in Human Environmental Science with a concentration in Interior Design. I worked for years with various architects and engineers. After working in the design industry, I returned to school and obtained my Masters Degree in Art Education from The University of Alabama A&M in Huntsville, Alabama
While at Alabama A&M, I temporarily taught Technical Drafting at Alan Thornton Career Technical School and I worked as an aide with special need students at Rogers High School. After graduation, I taught at Austin High School in Decatur, Alabama. Since 2010, I have a wonderful job here at Colbert County High School.
I enjoyed my professional career in design and now I enjoy working with the students in the classroom as well as the faculty and staff here a CCHS.
