Stuffed with Love

Colbert County Schools recently completed their 2nd annual stuffed animal drive for the Colbert County Sherriff department, which collected over 400 stuffed animals. What began as a small act of kindness has grown into something much more amazing.  The Colbert County Sherriff department uses the stuffed animals to provide comfort when they receive a call involving children.  This small gesture has the potential to ease the pain of a traumatic experience.  The stuffed animal drive is organized and maintained each year by Donna Patterson and Colbert County Schools educational support personnel.  A big thank you to Colbert County Sheriff Frank Williamson, Melcha Satchel and everyone who donated!
