I graduated from Lauderdale County High School in May of 1985 with honors. I was a member of the band and flag corps during high school. I participated in the math club and Beta club. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from UNA in 1990 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education with endorsements in mathematics and geography.
I worked at Colbert Heights High School for nine years teaching Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II/Trig. I then moved to Lee County in 2006 and got a job teaching math at Russell County High School. I taught at RCHS for seven years. While at RCHS I taught Geometry A, Geometry B, and Algebra II/Trig. Then I returned to Colbert County and got a job teaching math at Cherokee High School. I am working on my eighth year here. I have taught Algebra IA, Algebra IB, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig, Precalculus, and AP Calculus while at CHS. I am the Mu Alpha Theta club advisor here at CHS and I am the math and science Scholar's Bowl coach.
