Substitute Applications for Certified and Support Personnel will be accepted August 9, 2017.  Special Education Confidentiality Training will begin at 8:30 a.m.  Attendance is required to be a substitute.  The meeting will be held at the Central Office.

 

 

Substitute Applications:

If you HOLD a valid State of Alabama Professional Educator's Certificate: 

      1.   Complete the Substitute Teacher Application
      
2.   Attach a copy of your State of Alabama Professional Educator's Certificate 
      3.   Complete Forms
Employment Eligibility Verification, W-4 and A-4
      
4.   Submit a copy of Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card
      5.   Attend Special Education Confidentiality Training
   

If you DO NOT HOLD a valid State of Alabama Professional Educator's Certificate:
        
1.   Complete the Substitute Teacher Application
        2.   Complete Application for a Substitute Teacher License
        3.   Attach a copy of: 
            -  High School Diploma, GED or College Diploma
            -  Valid Driver's License
            -  Social Security Card
        4.   Complete Forms Employment Eligibility Verification, W-4 and A-4
        5.   Pay $30.00 for Substitute License Fee online at www.alabamainteractive.org/education/. (Must include receipt of payment)
        6.   Attend Special Education Confidentiality Training
        7.   Complete Criminal Background Check - Fingerprinting Information

 If you ONLY want to substitute for Classified Personnel:
        1.   Complete the
Substitute for Classified Personnel Application
        
2.   Attach a copy of:
            - High School Diploma or GED
            - Valid Driver's License
            - Social Security Card
        3.   Complete Forms Employment Eligibility Verification
, W-4 and A-4
        
4.    Register for Criminal Background Check - Fingerprinting Information
